How long will I have access after enrolment?
Individual CPD courses: 12 months of online access from your enrolment date.
Full CPD Package: continuous access for the full four-year program duration, so you can revisit materials anytime and stay on track with your Queensland BOE CPD plan.
Are these courses accredited training?
No, Simtars CPD courses are non-accredited professional development programs. They are designed at approximately AQF Level 4 to match the complexity and industry expectations for statutory ticket holders and technical specialists.
While they don’t result in a formal qualification, they’re ideal for refreshers, skill maintenance and meeting Queensland BOE CPD requirements. Many mining professionals use them to keep technical knowledge current and prepare for workplace audits or certificate renewals.
Do these courses count towards informal CPD hours?
No, Simtars CPD courses are designed to contribute to formal CPD hours under the Queensland BOE Practising Certificate Scheme. Informal CPD activities must be recorded separately in your CPD log.
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Yes, upon successfully completing each course, you’ll receive a CPD certificate confirming your completed hours. This certificate can be used as evidence for Queensland BOE compliance, workplace audits and your professional development records.
