The learning is practical, relevant and immediately applicable, ensuring participants can transfer their skills directly to real-world leadership situations. Each module focuses on developing confident, capable leaders who can effectively manage people, solve problems and drive team performance in dynamic environments.

Online, self-paced eLearning delivered through Simtars’ dedicated learning platform. Each micro-learning module is concise and engaging, taking less than one (1) hour to complete, allowing for flexible and efficient learning.

Support and administration are coordinated from Simtars, Redbank. All learning is completed online via Simtars’ learning platform.

Per module (1 hour total, self-paced):

• Approx. 1 hour self-paced online – complete in one sitting or split into shorter sessions to fit around work and home commitments.
• 100% online eLearning – start and stop anytime; your progress is automatically saved.
• No formal assessments – awareness-based learning with light interactive elements only.
• Evidence provided – Certificate of Completion (non-accredited) issued per module.
• Tech-light – accessible via any modern browser with stable internet; desktop, tablet and mobile compatible.

Annual load: 12 micro-learnings = approx. 12 hours of flexible learning across the Leadership and Management Fundamental Unit.

Recommendation: Allow 1–2 weeks per micro-learning to complete comfortably alongside other commitments.

Evidence: Completion records and Certificates of Completion are provided for each module as proof of participation and skill development.

The Leadership and Management Essential Skills Online Program is 100% online and self-paced, giving you the flexibility to complete it at a time that suits you best.

How it works:

• Complete modules at your own pace – pause and resume anytime; your progress is automatically saved.
• Suggested Pathway: Begin with the twelve (12) Leadership and Management micro-learnings to build essential capability. Then, expand your learning by selecting additional topics from other Skillset Pathways, such as Communication, Problem-Solving, or Wellbeing.
• Evidence on completion: Certificate of Completion (non-accredited) for each module.

Assessment Methods: There are no formal assessments in this online program. You’ll complete self-paced eLearning with knowledge checks along the way. Work through all sections at your own pace. Once you’ve finished the module, you’ve met the requirement.

Attendance Requirements: There is no workshop to attend. To complete the unit, simply finish the online module in full. Your progress is saved, so you can pause and resume around shifts and home commitments.

Credential Issued: This program is non-accredited and does not issue an AQF credential. When you finish each online lesson you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion (non-accredited) for that course.

Issuance Timeframe: This is a non-accredited program, so no AQF certification is issued. Your Certificate of Completion for each course will be provided within 30 calendar days of successfully completing the online module (and settlement of any fees, where applicable).
