This course will assist in your preparation to take on the key role of Site Senior Executive (SSE) at a Queensland surface mine or quarry. This training is non-accredited and is designed to give you the skills and knowledge to take on the responsibilities required by the Mining Safety and Health Advisory Committee (MSHAC).
The course consists of a number of topics related to the SSE responsibilities for the safe drilling and blasting activities conducted on a small mine or quarry. - between 6 and 20 persons
- more than 20 persons
and for Site senior executive of a surface mine or quarry, other than an opal or gem mine,
- employing 5 or fewer persons
and for Site senior executive of an underground mine
- employing more than 10 people
and for Site senior executive of an underground mine, other than an opal or gem mine,
- employing 10 or fewer people

A Questionnaire to Assess the Learning
You will be required to undertake online questioning. If the question has not been answered correctly, the learner will be automatically taken back to review the relevant content.
Upon successful completion of the questionnaire, Simtars (Registration Code: 45647) will issue and email a non-accredited Statement of Completion from Simtars (Registration Code: 45647) to you. This can be printed for proof of completion.
